Text: Revelations 21:3-4

 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.   4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes;  and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain:  for the former things are passed away.

THE TACTICS OF THE SPIRIT OF DEATH

Text: Revelations 21:3-4

Memory verse: John 10: 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

The tactics of the spirit of death go hand in hand with Satan’s strategies against us found in John 10:10, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.” What does the spirit of death steal from us? The spirit of death steals the fulfilment of hopes and dreams, a full lifetime of togetherness for couples, families, and friends. It robs parents of their children and children of their parents, the list of its thefts is endless.

What does the spirit of death kill? Despite the obvious, the killing of the physical body, the spirit of death kills much more. This murderous spirit kills off the God-given destiny of individuals and the influence they are meant to have on the lives of the people in their space of influence.

What does the spirit of death destroy? The spirit of death destroys the witness of the individual of a loving God who truly loves and cares for all and is willing and able to heal all sickness and disease. You are aware of the evil that its tactics are ravaging in your own life.

The Spirit of Death’s deadly operations against us, are weapons of mass destruction such as sickness, rare and incurable diseases, lying spirits that induce thoughts of suicide and murder, including abortion, and all types of terroristic attacks. The spirit of death is clever and cunning, and it works in the realm of spiritual darkness. It first enters the mind and the emotions when we least expect it. Especially, when we lack time with the Word, our faith level dwindles, and our spiritual defences are easy for the enemy to breach. Or when we fall ill, we tend to let our spiritual guard down, and the enemy takes advantage of this spiritual weakness. The spirit of death also has a vicious appetite for the vulnerable and unsuspecting people of this world. These are some common roads that it gains access to do its evil.

And this is how it is with the workings of confusion and double mindedness, you can’t win. You become unstable in all your ways James 1:8. You can’t stand firmly against an enemy you don’t believe in. And to reiterate, you must know who your real enemy is to conquer and win. This war is not against one another. It’s not against your doctor, your spouse, your children, your pastor, or your friend, but against things we cannot see with the natural eye. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:12, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”

Make no mistake, we are in the midst of a spiritual war against spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places. But we are not alone in this fight, God and His heavenly host are with us, fighting Satan and his demonic forces on our behalf. Romans 16:20 assures us with this promise of victory, “The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.” This is an unseen fight between God and His goodness and Satan and all his evil. And we’re encamped between two supernatural forces, God and His angels and the devil and his demons. This is a genuine combat between life and death, both eternal and natural. It’s best that you have a clear understanding just who your fellow soldiers and allies are in Christ and bind yourself with them, not with the enemy and his legions of demons.

 Prayers 

1.  Every satanic agent, monitoring my life for evil, be disgraced, in the name of Jesus.

2.  Lord, I cancel every legality the devil has against me to interrupt the word of God from being effective in my life thereby enforcing death.

3.  In the name of Jesus, I arrest every spirit of death manifesting through any means in my life.

4.  Let every pattern of loss in my life cease now in the name of Jesus.

5.  Eaters of flesh and drinkers of blood I command you to feed on your own flesh and be drunken by your own blood like a sweet wine.

6.  By the power of God the father, Son and the Holy Spirit, I command every root of mysterious sickness in any part of my body and life get uprooted in the name of Jesus

PSALM 31:4 “Pull me out of the net which they have secretly laid for me, for You are my strength”  

7.  Let your mighty power pull me out of the net which the enemy have secretly laid for me in Jesus’ name amen.

8.  I decree and declare no weapon fashioned against me shall prosper in Jesus’ name amen. Isaiah 54:17

9.  For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even His faithful love for me will remain. His covenant of blessing upon my life and family will never be broken in Jesus’ name amen Isaiah 54:10.

10.  I decree and declare that every handwriting of death concerning me, and my household is erased by the blood of Jesus Christ.

11.  Nothing good is permitted to die in my life anymorein Jesus’ name amen.

12.  I inject the life of God into everything that concerns me in Jesus’ name amen.

13.  I arrest every attempt of the enemies to shop me in anyway this year in Jesus’ name amen.

14.  I move with all round favour, both from God and manin Jesus’ name amen.

Declarations

Almighty Jehovah, disgrace every satanic agent, monitoring my life for evil, cancel every legality the devil has against me to interrupt your word from producing the desired effect in my life and enforcing death, arrest every spirit of death manifesting through any means in my life and every member of my family. Re-program every pattern of losses programmed against my life. Let every eaters of flesh and drinker of blood be fed with their own flesh and be drunk with their own blood. Lord destroys every root of mysterious sickness in any part of my body and life let it be uprooted in the name of Jesus, pull me out of the net which the enemy have secretly laid for me, no weapon fashioned against me shall prosper, Your faithful love for me will remain. Your covenant of blessing upon my life and family will never be broken, every handwriting of death concerning me, and my household is erased in Jesus’ name. Amen.
