Text: 1 Samuel 17: 34-37

 34 And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father's sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock:  35 And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth:  and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him.   36 Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear:  and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God.   37 David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine.   And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.

YOU WILL ESCAPE 2

Text: 1 Samuel 17: 34-37

Memory verse: 1 Samuel 17: 37 David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.

The devil thought He had a hold on you, he thought he was going to pull you down, He thought he was going to mess up your life, he thought he was going to keep you in prison, he thought he was going to make you fail God. But God said, even in the basement of your life, trust in me and I will make a way for you, I’ll carry you through the storm, I’ll place you on my shoulders and walk with you when you are without, and I’ll deliver you from that problem, but you must trust in me.

When you look back on your life, and you think about the storms he has covered you from, how He has protected you from those that had you as prey, all the time those raging waters had gone over your soul, God covered you, when that man tried to knock you off track, God covered you. When they tried to attack you, violate you, assault you, God covered you and consoled you. There was a time when you didn’t know what to do and where to go, feeling weak and the tears started to stream down your face, you did not know what to do, how you are going to make it. Now you can look through the past and see now that things are different, something different taking over, something new and fresh has been born inside of you, you feel a rush of inspiration coming on because this time you have the word with you, and see something that made you stand a little taller, you see something great, now you see someone who is going to be somebody, and that problem did not look so big any more.

All of the sudden, the headache is gone, and the sore disappeared and you start to feel that your energy is coming back, and you feel strong deeply in you that the giant you were dealing with, that was consuming your thoughts and devastating your life, that giant that was bringing you down, that giant that was messing with your mind, all of a sudden the snare is broken and you have escaped and you ae victorious. Now you have an experience that has built your faith and confidence in God to take up great task for him. Gat ready this year, your past experiences of God’s deliverance will inspire you to greater height for Him.

1.  Lord Jesus, help us to escape all the wrath and the wickedness of the wicked against us.

2.  LORD God Almighty, show me the way of escape You have prepared for me in all my challenges in Jesus’ name. Amen.
