    Text: Matthew 7:24-25

24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:  25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house;  and it fell not:  for it was founded upon a rock.

    GOD’S WISDOM IS GOD’S WORD

    Text: Matthew 7:24-25

Memory verse: Joshua 1: 8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Therefore, whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

The Word of God is wisdom to make men wise. Matthew 7:24-25 shows us that the wise man is the man who does what God asked him to do. This is why every believer must be responsible to give heed to the word of God and respond to it.

In 2 Chronicles 26:4-5 “And he DID that which was right in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father Amaziah did. And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God: and as long as he sought the Lord, God made him to prosper.” Jesus said in Luke 21:12-15 “But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake. And it shall turn to you for a testimony. Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to contradict nor resist.” This was confirmed in Acts 6:10 “And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake.

These scriptures show us that the wisdom of God is found in words and more specifically His words on our lips either as inspired by the Spirit or as it comes from our previous meditations on His word. This wisdom is not mere intellect but divine inspiration that guarantees results. The Word of God on our inside will produce the wisdom we need for every situation.  Therefore, plant the Word of God consistently in your heart. Do all you can to get God’s Word on your inside, study the Bible and listen to spirit-filled sermons. If we will follow the wisdom of God wholeheartedly this way, we will experience great wealth, health, and good success.

Joshua 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
